20 years after Live Aid, the Irish rocker Bob Geldof organized the "Live 8, the long march to justice", a new series of five giants concerts were held simultaneously on 2 July in London, Philadelphia, Paris, Rome and Berlin, a few days before the G8 summit which brought together the leaders of the main rich countries on 8 July 2005, and is intended to raise awareness to reform international trade and cancel the debt of poor countries.
