Amadou Bagayoko and Mariam Doumbia met over 25 years ago at the Institute for Young Blind in Bamako, Mali. Their music is a wonderful hybrid inspired by their many influences, from traditional African music to the French music, from pop perspective. Their fourth album, "A Sunday in Bamako," a collaborative effort with Manu Chao, is totally irresistible.
