They have funny fish in the London aquariums...This new generation of sophisticated robots, cloned from the carp fish, can keep its balance, be driven under water and detect sounds. It is envisaged to improve artificial intelligence so that it will be able to find its recharge station (5 hours is the maximum autonomy). In addition to the attention gained from the public, these robot fish could be used to explore the sea-bed, to detect oil leaks on pipelines or even as spies!
